Sales Operations Specialist Intern

The role of the Sales Operations Specialist Intern in Bumble Bee will be to support the sales efforts of the sales teams across the country to achieve company volume, share and profit goals by providing sales & revenue based operational and analytical support.

  • Operational and analytical support of Sales and Brand Marketing teams
  • Sales Budgets: assist in management of Sales Budgets (Customer Marketing, Syndicated Data, Redemptions, Packing, etc.) by tracking, coding and processing all expenditures
  • Brokerage: process, track and analysis of brokerage payments (including C&S Accrual Brokerage Payout process)
  • Executive Reporting: assist in facilitation of monthly sales recaps for the Executive Committee Meeting by compiling information from all sales personnel
  • Sales Portal/Fishbowl: administrator of the Bumble Bee Sales Portal intranet site with daily maintenance of all site content
  • Coordination across departments on new vendor, broker, customer, and item set ups
  • Assist in sales department communications, meetings and events (ie. bulletins, national sales meeting, etc.)
  • Coordination across departments on completion of various required vendor documents requested by Sales
  • Assist in management of all sales contracts (Broker, Customer, Syndicated Data, etc.) by entering and maintaining contracts in SAP system
  • Run daily or semi-regular reporting for Sales and Brand Marketing teams
  • Triage and coordinate department assistance with order and trade promotion management discrepancies
  • Ensure effective and efficient time management
  • Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards in regards to business dealings with internal personnel and external broker partners

 

Qualifications and Skills Desired:

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or related field
  • 1-2 years work experience
  • Strong collaboration skills; must be able to collaborate and work with other team members easily and effectively
  • Computer proficiencies; Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, Microsoft Teams programs
  • Knowledge of SAP administration is desirable
  • Good rapport builder with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with various levels of the business in non-technical terms
