The Republic of Palau and the United States co-hosted the 7th Our Ocean Conference on April 13-14, 2022. The Conference was a key moment for countries, civil society, and industry to commit to concrete and significant actions to protect the ocean.
The Bumble Bee Seafood Company’s President & CEO, Jan Tharp, delivered a video message as part of the Conference’s Showcase of Multi-stakeholder Approaches to Address Ghost Gear Around the World. In the video, she laid out the company’s Seafood Future commitments around fish, ocean, and people, and highlights our expanded partnership with The Global Ghost Gear Initiative.
