Customer Success Intern

Job Summary

 

This intern will provide support to the Customer Success department within Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support:
    • Receive and process customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring orders meet company policies relating to pricing, promotions, lead time, weight, etc.
    • Identify and resolve service issues.  Quickly identify the source of a problem, gather and analyze information related to the issue, and devise a solution that best meets both the company’s and the customer’s needs.

 

  • Monitor and respond to inquiries and issues in individual as well as shared department email inbox within the same day. Ensure urgent matters are responded to within 2 hours of receipt.

 

  • Work through daily service issues and quickly identify the source of a problem, by gathering and analyzing information related to the matter.

 

  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Success (CS) Team, and cross functional departments such as Transportation, DC Inventory, and 3rd Party Logistics Partners (Distribution Centers/Carriers/Transportation Provider) to coordinate shipments.

 

  • Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with the Sales Team, Brokers, and Customers through the most effective communication method. Including, but not limited to on-site visits and meetings.
    • Serve as a resource for the department including back-up for CS Team members and cross functional supply chain roles.
    • Maintain an understanding of all Bumble Bee and Anova customers to provide comprehensive coverage.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer and broker’s performance and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
    • Participate in projects that support developing automation solutions and implementing new processes/systems.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Communications, Data Science or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Knowledge of logistics operations, including freight, warehousing, imports, and transportation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Compensation

The pay for this internship is $21.00 per hour.
