SAP Data Architect

Objective: The SAP Data Architect at Bumble Bee Seafoods is tasked with formulating, developing, and delivering cutting-edge business intelligence solutions and technical guidance across the company’s BI capabilities.

 

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will collaborate with users, stakeholders, and IT to define complex management reporting and dashboarding requirements, proposing cost-effective technical solutions. They will be responsible for devising, developing, modeling, and implementing best practices in business intelligence using advanced toolsets to drive competitive advantage. This includes analyzing and enhancing foundational layers that support efficient queries and data presentation. As the leading technical resource, the candidate will gather requirements, manage reporting, and publish operational data from various sources, including SAP, to stakeholders managing business performance. The successful candidate will possess the technical expertise and communication skills necessary to analyze complex issues, evaluate intangibles, and lead cross-functional teams to meet or exceed user requirements. A deep understanding of the SAP BW/4 HANA Development Platform and S/4 HANA Modules is essential, along with knowledge of various business processes to design and deliver effective solutions. Passion for delivering well-designed applications that meet or exceed business expectations and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to business partners is crucial.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction in the analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of complex technical solutions related to enterprise applications projects.
  • Architect, design, develop, and implement SAP BW solutions using BW/4 HANA, BW Bridge, Datasphere, and HANA modeling techniques.
  • Develop and maintain BW data objects, including InfoObjects, InfoSources, Transformations, ODS, Cubes, Info Providers, and multi providers.
  • Develop and maintain BW/4HANA objects such as ADSO, Composite Provider, ODP BW Extractors, Open ODS View, BW Query.
  • Coordinate security requirements and user administration, rights, and user groups supporting various organizational views.
  • Define formal departmental methodologies and procedures for BI based on industry best practices to perform requirements gathering, design architecture for optimum performance, prototyping, development, and deployment with minimal design changes.
  • Act as the lead technical BI resource in the requirement gathering process for complex projects to ensure new requirements are clearly defined, understood, and compliant with BI architectural best practices.
  • Organize, create, and maintain critical technical and functional documentation for related business processes, including technical specifications, test plans, and training materials.
  • Diagnose and resolve BI issues as they arise.
  • Perform BI unit testing for SAP upgrades and enhancements.
  • Work closely with the BW offshore team.

 

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other relevant fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP BW and BW/4HANA with a solid understanding of SAP Datasphere and integration with S/4 HANA.
  • Experience in SAP Datasphere implementation projects: architecting, designing, data modeling, Views, Analytical Models, replication flows, and transformation flows.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 relevant project experiences, full implementation cycle, support.
  • Extensive experience in SAP BW/HANA version 2.0 or earlier.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAC Planning, and BI.
  • Implement and customize SAC and Analysis for Office for Planning and building Stories.
  • Experience with Datasphere System Configuration, Connection setup, and testing with a good understanding of SAP BTP.
  • Proficient in ABAP for transformation routines and development of SAP BW extraction objects in ECC and S/4 HANA.
  • Extensive knowledge in data modeling, particularly based on the BW/4HANA concept.
  • Strong experience with HANA SQL/modeling and/or ABAP.
  • Experience working on mixed modeling with BW/4HANA and HANA native modeling.
  • Experience in SAP BW migration to Datasphere (BDC) is a plus.
  • Experience with Databricks enhancing AI/ML models.
  • 2 Full Life Cycle SAP HANA implementation experiences preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP SLT replication server is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of table relationships in the core modules of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA.
  • Experience in CDS Views creation in S/4 HANA system and real-time replication to BW/4 HANA or Datasphere.
  • Deep knowledge of BI extractors from the ECC and S/4 HANA System and working knowledge of SAP structures, object dependencies, and tables in version ECC 6.0 environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of related planning solutions like BPC, TPM, BW-IP is advantageous.

Project Coordinator Intern

Position Summary: The Project Coordinator Intern will assist in the execution of project plans by supporting senior project coordinators or managers. This role involves maintaining project documentation, tracking deadlines, and communicating with team members to ensure project milestones are met.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans using project management tools.
  • Track project progress and update project documentation.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Help coordinate meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Support the project manager in managing project risks and issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and methodologies.

 

Qualifications:

Compensation

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Intune endpoint management, including policies for Apple and Google enrollment, software deployment, and policies for Azure AD joined Windows computers

· Manage Azure Entra ID, including support of account replication between AD and Azure AD, Account creations, and group management

· Management of network printers

· Administration of Azure services, including, but not limited to, Virtual Machines, Web Apps, SQL databases, Azure Active Directory, Enterprise Applications, Recovery Service Vaults, and Intune

· Work with application vendors to configure SSO SAML, including updating of certificates as needed

· Operational support and optimization of network/cloud/workstation/server/storage technologies to ensure continuous availability of secure and reliable network services

· Wireless assessments and optimization. Ensure connections are secure and provide a seamless login experience for all devices including IoT, guests, and corporate assets

· Collaborate with site staff, project teams, as well as vendors, to implement changes to existing systems, and newly deployed systems for the business

· Research and recommendation of next generation tools to keep business operations efficient

· Craft PowerShell scripts for bulk operations or specific tasks not available from the GUI

· Manage and tune cyber security tools to ensure effective remediation of threats in a timely manner

· Occasional travel to several US and International facilities may be required for site hardware rollouts and site assessments

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum 5 years of in-depth, hands-on experience in cloud, server, and network administration as the go-to person for managing the infrastructure. Any recent cloud or network certifications a plus.

· Extensive experience creating group policies and configuration profiles for mobile and computer management such as Intune, GPO, and RMM

· Extensive understanding and experience supporting an organization with clients that are Azure AD joined. Experience shifting organizations from hybrid to full cloud environments as a technical role.

· Experience configuring policies for enterprise O365 applications including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive

· Strong understanding of wireless protocols and optimizations, topologies, and common network issues and how to resolve them

· Experience implementing cyber security tools to protect organizations, including enterprise Anti-Virus, EDR, email protection, Intrusion Prevention, Zero Trust, SSL certificate requests, etc.

· Experience implementing and tuning modern cloud security products such as CASB, Shadow-IT risk mitigation, cloud-native SIEM

· Experience managing and securing cloud storage for an enterprise such as Drobox, Box, Google Drive, Egnyte etc.

· Strong analytical and research skills to resolve complex issues in a timely manner

· Agile, “can-do” team player with excellent communication skills. Have no problem rolling up the sleeves to find a way to complete the objective at hand.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish, including written and spoken communication is highly preferable.
