Project Manager
The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturing and operational projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is critical in implementing processes and machinery at new locations, scaling production capabilities, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with business goals—particularly in the fast-paced CPG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for manufacturing initiatives, including new product introductions, line extensions, packaging changes, and facility upgrades.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Drive process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Prepare and present project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities related to project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
- 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in the CPG industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and quality systems.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, or Oracle).
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and packaging innovation in CPG.
- Exposure to international manufacturing or co-manufacturing environments.
- Bilingual (Spanish)

The pay range for this role is $95,000 – $105,000 annually.
*The compensation will be commensurate with the level of knowledge, education, skills, and experience applicable to the position.

Purpose:
The sanitation crew is responsible for maintaining plant sanitation. Using a High-Pressure Hose, the sanitation crew washes and sanitizes each area of production at the end of each day to remove any trace elements of the day’s product (remaining fish pieces/bones/scales) as well as any allergens (Mustard, Soy) that have been used during our sealing and canning process.
You will be successful in this role by performing the following:
- Hosing down all machines used throughout the production day using our 950 PSI High-Pressure hoses.
- Cleaning production machines using specific instructions and chemicals when required.
- Disassemble necessary machines to ensure a thorough cleaning and sanitation.
- Reassemble necessary machines once properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Removing all traces of any allergens or leftover fish product from production area.
- Sanitize equipment following company operating procedures and established practices.
- Ensuring all assigned equipment is cleaned and sanitized by shift’s end.
Requirements: Successful candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Able to safely operate a 950 PSI High-Pressure Hose.
- Medically cleared to wear a respirator during shifts.
- Clean shaven (if applicable) to ensure a proper fit of a respirator.
- Physically capable of lifting upwards of 50lbs frequently and capable of safely bending, squatting, stooping, crouching, and climbing over and around necessary equipment for sanitation.
- Ability to work the evening shift and overtime as required (Hours may fluctuate).
- Able to follow instructions for proper, and safe, sanitation of equipment with chlorinated chemicals or acid products.
- Able to meet required timelines for cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Prior experience/knowledge of sanitation in a food processing environment is preferred.
- Grade 10 education or higher.
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
Working Conditions and Physical Capacities:
This position can be physically demanding with a combination of standing, walking, bending, crouching, squatting, and stooping on cement floors in addition to climbing/maneuvering over equipment. Applicants must be physically capable of lifting upwards of 50lb frequently during the duration of the shift. Applicants must be able to work in a variety of hot and cold environments depending on shift needs. Applicants must also be capable of reading in English to understand chemical labels, as well as writing and speaking English to maintain communication with co-workers/supervisor.
