We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Operations Finance Manager to support our business operations with financial insights and decision-making. This role bridges finance and operations, ensuring financial efficiency, cost control, and performance optimization.  This role will also be responsible for analyzing cost and operation performance, preparing financial reports, and helping optimize the company’s cost structure and supporting operation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, operational analysis, and strategic forecasting.

Essential Duties:

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets to drive operational efficiency.
• Cost & Profitability Analysis: Assess costs, margins, and profitability across business units and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Production Cost: Analyze production cost, labor, and material expenses to track trends and maximize KPIs.
• Operational Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize processes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, supply chain, and business leaders to align financial strategies with operational goals.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct financial reviews, comparing actual performance against budget/forecast and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Process Improvement: Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting and operational workflows.
• Strategic Decision Support: Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to enhance business performance.

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• CPA or CMA designation or progress towards CPA or CMA certification is a plus
• 5 – 10 years’ experience in finance, FP&A, manufacturing finance, or plant finance
• Previous experience and expertise with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel required
• Advanced skills in Excel required, Microsoft Analysis preferred, and Power BI a plus
• Strong analytical capabilities and strong written and verbal communication skills required
• SAP experience preferred or equivalent ERP system experience desired with knowledge of basic accounting system functionality required
• Self-starter who is drawn towards taking initiative, has the ability to multi-task, has strong interpersonal skills with an ability to respond to inquiries and effectively present information to accounting and business managers
• Ability to identify and define problems, collect supporting data, establish facts, propose solutions and meet deadlines

The Senior Treasury Analyst is an integral member of the Corporate Treasury team, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders – including Accounting, Finance, Tax, Legal, IT, and various business segments – as well as external partners such as relationship banks and treasury service providers. This role supports a wide range of corporate treasury activities, with a focus on improving processes, documentation, procedures, and management reporting to help build a best-in-class treasury organization aligned with the company’s growth and strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities, intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and excellent organizational and customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Perform daily cash management operations – determine the company’s daily cash position, analyze/optimize the short-term borrowing needs, and facilitate internal controls for cash movement.
• Manage the corporate card program administration – provide exceptional customer service to our cardholders, communicate issues with our card provider, execute approved program changes, make appropriate updates via user administration, and troubleshoot/resolve cardholder usage difficulties.
• Daily Bank Reconciliations, ensuring our system of record (SAP) agrees with daily cash positions reported by the company’s bank statements.
• Perform administrative tasks in providing Treasury’s input to the daily Accounts Payable payment proposal process (i.e., provide necessary segregation of duties required for moving cash)
• Prepare Treasury month- and quarter-end reporting for various stakeholders.
• Provide information in connection with the external and internal audits and monitor cash management activities to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with the company’s business units to prepare and analyze the company’s 26-week cash flow forecast and other cash and borrowing projection models.
• Support the company’s corporate hedging program – create and maintain reporting schedules, compliance documentation, trade settlements, and monthly presentation. Conduct supportive analysis for the Treasurer as needed.
• Assist Treasurer with preparing regulatory reporting, periodic cross-functional projects, and corporate risk management.
• Gain intimate knowledge of the vendors managed by Treasury / Risk and the relevant sections of our general ledger enabling the ability to process invoices with proper coding to enable the most efficient processing for our partners in Accounts Payable, including the set up and approval of new vendors.
• Support corporate accounting, corporate tax, business planning, internal audit, and other functions as they relate to Treasury transactions.
• Monitor/Report on monthly bank account analysis fees and provide recommendations to management to reduce spending and optimize banking structure.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Finance/Accounting/Economics degree strongly preferred.
• 5-10 years of corporate finance or accounting experience
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities, with the capability to understand complex transactions, identify problems, collect data, and propose effective solutions.
• Highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Maintains a high level of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive experience and expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical treasury skills with the ability to evaluate cash positions, forecast liquidity needs and analyze financial risks in a multi-currency environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to respond promptly and present information clearly to business stakeholders.

Position Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in supporting month-end close, maintaining compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and partnering cross-functionally to support Bumble Bee Foods’ business objectives. The Accounting Manager will also lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while driving process improvements and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AP team and general ledger staff
• Preparation of financial statements and schedules for internal leadership and external stakeholders

• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial results

• Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best accounting practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and data integrity

• Assist in developing and documenting accounting policies and procedures
• Provide accounting guidance on new transactions, projects, and operational changes Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls, and enhance reporting efficiency
• Support system enhancements, ERP upgrades, and automation initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management or lead responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), food manufacturing, or manufacturing environments
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or National Firm)
• Proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken)
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4 HANA
