Logistics Analyst Intern
Job Summary
The Logistics Analyst Intern is responsible for providing critical financial analysis and support to the Logistics team. This role involves a deep understanding of logistics operations, financial reporting, and data analysis. The primary focus is on ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports for freight, warehousing, import, and other logistics costs.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future costs and budgets.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required.
- Logistics Data Analysis:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to logistics operations.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
- Utilize data visualization tools to present insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and reporting.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce costs.
- Work with the team to automate manual tasks and leverage technology to optimize workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of logistics operations, including freight, warehousing, imports, and transportation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation
The pay for this internship is $21.00 per hour.

Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting period-end accounting closing cycles, preparing and recording general journal entries, asset and liability account reconciliations, system maintenance, monthly reporting, audit support schedules, balance sheet and income statement account variance analysis and accounting projects. Will work effectively with personnel from other departments and affiliated companies to ensure timely, accurate completion of accounting cycle closings and service request responses. Position has expectations for growth into steadily increasing complexity of tasks and management responsibilities.
Essential Duties:
- Analyzes business transactions and events as the basis for preparing general journal entries and properly documents transactions
- Provides conclusive support for journal entries in the form of underlying documents, schedules and explanations
- Reviews journal entries for accuracy prior to recording the entries and after recording the entry to verify expected impact to the balance sheet and related income or expense accounts
- Performs month-end reconciliations of accounts and provides reasonable explanations and insightful analysis of the components of assigned accounts
- Researches and applies generally accepted accounting principles in support of accounting, and proposes reasonable solutions to accounting problems based on a keen understanding of accounting principles and business activities
- Communicates and collaborates with co-workers in relevant operating groups and management to ensure understanding of business transactions and achieve efficient and effective accounting results
- Assists in the evaluation, design, and execution of preventative and detective internal controls to the completeness and accuracy of account balances and periodic activity
- Perform reviews of sample populations of expense reports for compliance with the Company’s Travel Expense Policy
- Primary accountant responsible for the consolidated foreign currency revaluation and translation process and primary resource for the accounting for marketing and advertising expenses
- Lead accountant responsible for shell and holding company accounting including intercompany eliminations and consolidation accounting
- Support inventory accounting and costing
- Assist with the annual audits and quarterly reviews performed by external auditors and lenders by preparing audit schedules and/or reports providing appropriate explanations as required
- Assist operating companies, other internal service providers and external auditors with accounting related inquiries and requests
- Special projects as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, including courses in intermediate and advanced accounting topics such as foreign currency translation, consolidation and audit topics
- CPA designation or progress towards CPA certification preferred
- A minimum of 4 years progressing general accounting experience or 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
- Previous experience and expertise with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel required
- Advanced skills in Excel preferred
- Strong analytical capabilities and strong written and verbal communication skills required
- SAP experience preferred or equivalent ERP system experience desired with knowledge of basic accounting system functionality required
- Self-starter who is drawn towards taking initiative, has the ability to multi-task, has strong interpersonal skills with an ability to respond to inquiries and effectively present information to accounting and business managers
- Ability to identify and define problems, collect supporting data, establish facts, propose solutions and meet deadlines

SAP BI Architect
The objective of the SAP Business Intelligence Architect role at Bumble Bee Seafoods is to formulate, develop, and provide state-of-the-art business intelligence solutions and technical guidance to the business for all the company’s business intelligence capabilities.
Responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Architect, the ideal candidate will partner with users, stakeholders, and IT to define complex management reporting and dashboarding requirements and propose cost-effective technical solutions.
The Business Intelligence Architect will be responsible for devising, developing, modeling, and employing the best business intelligence practices available via proper approaches, techniques, through the utilization of advanced toolsets that drive competitive advantage for the company. This includes performing analysis and development/enhancement of solid foundational layers that support efficient queries and data presentation. This individual will be the leading technical resource in performing requirements gathering, management reporting and publishing operational data from a variety of data sources and from SAP to stakeholders who manage the business’ performance. The successful candidate will have the technical expertise and communication skills needed for analysis of complex issues, evaluation of intangibles and leadership of cross-functional teams to meet or exceed users’ requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SAP BW/4 HANA Development Platform and S/4 HANA Modules and possess an understanding of various business processes and leverage this knowledge to design and deliver the necessary solutions. Primary Responsibilities
· Provides technical direction in the analysis, design, development, documenting, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of complex technical solutions related to enterprise applications projects
· Architect, design, develop, and implement SAP BW solutions using BW/4 HANA, BW Bridge, Datasphere and HANA modeling techniques.
· Architect, design, develop and maintain BW data objects including InfoObjects, InfoSources, Transformations, ODS, Cubes, Info Providers, and multi providers.
· Architect, design, develop and maintain BW/4HANA objects such as ADSO, Composite Provider, ODP BW Extractors, Open ODS View, BW Query.
· Coordinate security requirements and user administration, rights and user groups supporting various organization views
· Define formal departmental methodologies and procedures for BI based on best practices in the industry to perform requirements gathering, design architecture for optimum performance, prototyping, and development, and deployment with a minimum of design changes.
· Acts as the lead technical BI resource in the requirement gathering process for complex projects to ensure that definitions of the new requirements are clearly defined and understood and are in accordance and compliance with best practices from a BI architectural perspective.
· Organize, create and maintain critical technical and functional documentation for related business processes, including technical specifications, test plans and training materials
· Diagnose and resolve BI issues as they arise
· Perform BI unit testing for SAP upgrades and enhancements
· Work closely with the BW offshore team.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or other relevant fields
· 10+ years of experience in SAP BW and BW/4HANA with good understanding of SAP Datasphere and integration with S/4 HANA.
· Experience in SAP Datasphere implementation projects: architecting, designing, data model, Views, Analytical Models, replication flows and transformation flows.
· Minimum of 2 to 3 relevant project experience, full implementation cycle, support
· Extensive experience in SAP BW/HANA version 2.0 or earlier
· Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAC Planning and BI
· Implement and customize SAC and Analysis for Office for Planning and building Stories.
· Experience with Datasphere System Configuration, Connection setup and testing & with good understanding of SAP BTP.
· Well versed in usage of ABAP for transformation routines and development of SAP BW extraction objects on ECC
· Extensive knowledge in data modelling, particularly based on the BW/4HANA concept
· Strong experience with HANA SQL/modelling and/or ABAP
· Experience working on mixed modelling with BW/4HANA and HANA native modelling.
· Experience in SAP BW migration to Datasphere will be a big plus
· 2 Full life cycle SAP HANA implementation experience is preferred
· Knowledge of SAP SLT replication server is highly desirable
· Knowledge and understanding of the table relationships in the core modules of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA
· Good experience in CDS Views creation in S/4 HANA system and real time replication to BW/4 HANA or Datasphere.
· Deep knowledge of BI extractors from the ECC system and working knowledge of SAP structures, object dependencies, and tables in version ECC 6.0 environment.

SAP Security Administrator
The SAP Security Administrator will work and support the business with the Sr. SAP Security Administrator to apply their learnings to Bumble Bee security issues. The person in this role will also be responsible for bulk analyses of security data for trends and anomalies. Other duties may include working with Microsoft tools, coordinating with vendors, working with end users and supporting the Applications team.
Responsibilities:
The responsibility of the SAP Security Administrator is to work directly with the Sr. SAP Security Administrator to learn Bumble Bee SAP security standards to a level where they can work independently on assigned tasks as well as “back up” the Sr. SAP Security Administrator.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Handle day to day SAP Security help desk tickets.
- Understanding of multi-system, multi-level, multi-location, multi-role concepts.
- Problem solve SAP Security anomalies and resolve.
- Set up new SAP users and shut down obsolete accounts.
- Create new security roles as required.
- Communicate effectively with IT team and business users regarding Security issues.
- Coordinate collection and preparation of Security data for auditors.
- Proficient with MS Excel formulas and multiple file joins.
- Develop documentation such as work instructions, policies, and procedures.
