Brand Marketing Manager

Purpose

 

The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and supporting Bumble Bee’s current product portfolio through brand strategy, media execution, segment planning, consumer and portfolio insights, sales tools, e-commerce support, trend scouting, and sustainable sourcing marketing. This role helps translate brand and consumer priorities into clear plans, tools, communications, and executional support that strengthen brand relevance, improve portfolio performance, support customer engagement, and advance the company’s positioning as a trusted seafood brand. The position requires strong marketing judgment, analytical discipline, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage brand initiatives from strategy through execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Current Product Management

  • Manage day-to-day marketing support for assigned current products, including product positioning, packaging updates, claims, selling materials, and consumer-facing messaging.
  • Monitor product performance, distribution, velocity, competitive activity, and consumer feedback to identify opportunities to improve performance across the existing portfolio.
  • Partner with Sales, Category Management, Insights, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams to support current product priorities and ensure brand consistency across channels.

Brand Strategy & Execution

  • Support development and execution of brand plans that align with Bumble Bee’s business goals, consumer needs, brand positioning, and portfolio priorities.
  • Translate brand strategy into clear marketing briefs, messaging priorities, campaign assets, packaging direction, sales tools, and internal communication materials.
  • Help maintain consistent brand voice, visual identity, product claims, and consumer messaging across retail, digital, e-commerce, social, media, and sales channels.

Media Strategy & Execution

  • Support media planning and execution across appropriate paid, owned, and earned channels to build awareness, engagement, and consideration for assigned brands and products.
  • Partner with agency and internal teams on campaign briefs, media calendars, creative asset development, trafficking needs, budget tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Review media and campaign results to identify optimization opportunities and connect learnings back to brand plans and future activation decisions.

Segment Strategy, Consumer & Portfolio Insights

  • Support segment-level strategy by helping define consumer targets, need states, usage occasions, channel opportunities, and portfolio priorities for current product lines.
  • Use consumer research, syndicated data, retailer data, portfolio performance, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Prepare concise insight summaries and recommendations that help guide brand decisions, sales conversations, product support, and communication priorities.

 Other Duties

  • Develop and maintain sales tools, sell sheets, customer presentation content, product information, claims support, and other materials that help Sales communicate brand priorities and product value.
  • Scout and communicate relevant consumer, food, seafood, retail, e-commerce, sustainability, and cultural trends that may influence brand positioning, product communication, and portfolio opportunities.
  • Support current product e-commerce needs, including product content, imagery coordination, digital shelf information, search-friendly messaging, and consistency across retailer and marketplace platforms.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to translate Bumble Bee’s sustainable sourcing commitments into accurate, compelling, and brand-appropriate marketing messages, claims support, and communication materials.
  • Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned

 

Experience/Skills/Education Required

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in brand management, trade marketing, or related roles in Consumer Packaged Goods
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field required
  • Experience executing marketing plans and supporting go-to-market strategies
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and Sales organizations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

AR Specialist

The A/R Specialist is to provide full collection activity on Trade AR, monitoring customer accounts and maintaining a healthy A/R aging and relationship with customers.  The A/R Specialist will work closely with Credit & Collections Analyst, Cash Application Specialist, and Trade Deductions department.

 

Essential Duties:

 

  • Responsible for maintaining all customer invoices on a daily basis to ensure they are submitting accordingly & efficiently.
  • Responsible for sending out Debit Memos to Bumble Bee and/or Anova customers upon request.
  • Prepare Customer Statement requests upon request of their account using SAP and excel to generate the report.
  • Responsible for all Credit Reference Request for other vendors inquiring about a current Bumble Bee or Anova Customer.
  • Responsible for generating Cash Discount Letters for specific customers who paid outside of the discount term.
  • Prepare Top 25 delinquent AR Reports on a weekly basis for the VP of Accounting
  • Diplomatically and assertively work with Bumble Bee customers to collect on aging invoices and maintain an aging report 2-3 times a week.
  • Full back up for Cash Application Specialist. This role will consist of running bank reports, applying cash to customers’ accounts and working with the deductions department.
  • Full back up for Credit & Collections Analyst – This role will consist of releasing credit holds based on the credit available on the customers’ accounts, new customer applications, analyzing existing customer’s accounts, assist Credit and Collections Analyst as requested.
  • Assist in accounting and audit projects for quarter and year-end audits with EY. This role will consist of working closely with the Credit & Collections Analyst by assisting with printing invoices, requesting proof of delivery (POD’s), and any other requests that may arise.
  • Proactively analyzing customer base to identify risk and ensure credit limits are appropriately set. This includes maintaining a communication channel with the sales department to identify slow paying customers and credit limit…
  • Stay in constant contact with our 3rd party credit agencies to identify potential at risk customers.
  • Ad hoc projects from management.

 

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

 

  • BA or BS degree preferred and two years’ experience in accounts receivable or collections.
  • Must possess intermediate-advanced PC skills in MS EXCEL (formulas, charts, graphs, V-Lookup). Intermediate knowledge Microsoft Outlook, Word
  • Very professional oral and written communication skills.
  • SAP knowledge
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, learn quickly, plan and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines, possess critical thinking and strong problem solving skills.
  • Must be willing to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
  • CPG/food industry experience is a plus.

Supply Chain Planning Intern

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Planning Intern will support the Procurement team by assisting with production planning, inventory management, and supply coordination for co-pack operations, with a primary focus on across multiple co-pack manufacturing partners and regions. This role provides hands-on experience in global supply chain operations and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

 

The intern will initially provide backup support for day-to-day co-pack planning activities and, over time, develop the capability to independently manage aspects of the planning process. This role is designed to strengthen operational support while building succession and coverage for a critical business function.

 

This internship may be eligible for consideration as a full-time position upon successful completion, based on performance and business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day co-pack planning activities, including production scheduling and inventory tracking
  • Assist with coordinating supply requirements based on demand forecasts
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Operations teams to ensure appropriate inventory levels and production coverage
  • Monitor inventory levels and help identify potential supply risks or gaps

Compensation

This role focuses on data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and platform reliability, with Microsoft Fabric as the primary data engineering and analytics platform.

 

The Data Engineer will work closely with analytics, IT, and business stakeholders to integrate data from ERP, supply chain, and operational systems into governed, scalable, and high‑performance analytical data assets. This role emphasizes strong engineering discipline, data architecture, and operational excellence rather than ad‑hoc analysis or report creation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

The Data Engineer partners with analytics and business teams to translate data requirements into robust, production‑grade data solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in data pipelines, storage, modeling, and performance optimization, with a focus on building reusable and future‑ready data assets.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and storage.
  • Develop and manage Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse architectures to support enterprise analytics and downstream consumption.
  • Implement scalable data ingestion from ERP, supply chain, and operational systems using Fabric Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and related tooling.
  • Apply strong data modeling and data engineering best practices, including dimensional modeling, normalization where appropriate, and performance optimization.
  • Create and maintain curated analytical data layers that serve as trusted sources for Power BI semantic models and other consumers.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency through validation, monitoring, and structured error handling.
  • Collaborate with analytics and BI teams to support Power BI semantic models, focusing on data structures, performance, and governance rather than report design.
  • Partner with IT security and infrastructure teams to implement role‑based access control, data security, and compliance standards.
