Accounts Payable Coordinator

Will be responsible for supporting the procure to pay process by processing invoices, managing workflows, researching discrepancies, and communicating with vendors as well assisting with accounting period-end close  accruals and working on special items as needed. Will work effectively with personnel from other departments and affiliated companies to ensure timely, accurate invoice postings and service request responses. Position has potential for growth into steadily increasing complexity of tasks.

Essential Duties:

  • Processing high volume purchase order and non-purchase order based vendor invoices with accuracy using the Vendor Invoice Management tool and SAP.
  • Prioritizing processing invoices based on due dates and resolving escalated issues in a timely manner.
  • Research and resolve any discrepancies with invoice coding and documentation.
  • Communicating with vendors, team members, and other individuals as needed to resolve invoice discrepancies, obtain missing documents, and field vendor inquiries.
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements for completeness and payment status.
  • Communicating with treasury to maintain scheduled payment runs and creating daily check, wire, and ACH payment proposals in SAP.
  • Providing vendors with remittance backup for payments as needed.
  • Downloading invoices from vendor portals for processing.
  • Entering contract-based amounts for payments.
  • Assisting with accounting month end close accruals for pending invoices.
  • Supporting audits and reviews by assembling required information as needed.
  • Establish cross-functional relationships while driving process efficiencies.

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of high volume AP processing experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 – 5 years of progressive AP experience preferred
  • SAP experience preferred with knowledge electronic accounts payable processing required
  • Previous experience and expertise with Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate Excel skills required
  • Strong analytical capabilities and strong written and verbal communication skills required

Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for all aspects of inventory planning and cost analysis of raw materials to production facilities.  The Analyst will coordinate with the Procurement department to report inventory adjustments and ensure moving average costs for finished goods are accurate.

The Analyst will assist with financial reports for Bumble Bee owned factories.  This position requires use of analytical and quantitative methods to make sure inventory is deployed most effectively through the Supply Chain to keep transportation costs low and maximize customer order fulfillment.  The Supply Chain Analyst will execute inventory management strategies to support company objectives and financial goals.




  • Customer Focus – Achieve and maintain alignment in the supply chain between suppliers, Bumble Bee Seafoods, and Finance
    • Works with Operations, QA, IT, Sales, and Marketing to coordinate schedules and other supply chain activities where demand exceeds supply, during supply shortages, where event timing necessitates an inventory build, or where non-standard actions are required (i.e., pre-planning for special package features i.e. coupons, graphics or size changes
    • Work daily with Resourcing, Revenue Management, Procurement, and Operations to ensure all costing models and data are up to date and variances explained.
    • Take action to forecast and prevent inventory issues, or to escalate and communicate them well in advance.  Implement strategies to manage inventory issues with limited impact to customers.
    • Lead weekly meetings with Trade and Purchasing to document global supply for products managed and clearly communicate supply status to the entire company
    • Work directly with suppliers to gain information needed to perform needed tasks and assist Resourcing or Procurement in product needs

    • Anticipates total network inventory position impacts of sales promotional/seasonal volume projections, new item introductions and obsolete item discontinuation and manages appropriate SAP system parameters to meet inventory targets.
    • Assess total system inventory position by product to determine best economic solution to meeting future demand.  Must be capable of using expertise and analysis to make business decisions and judgments independently.
    • Work closely with planning and factories to ensure product is delivered on a timely basis and minimize overstock of raw material.
    • Master SAP and SeaSoft to create purchase orders and stock transport orders daily, keep data current and accurate at all times
    • Provide recommendations to improve service, quality of work, and reduce costs through process or execution improvements

Director Customer Marketing

We are looking for a proactive, collaborative, and results oriented Director of Customer Marketing to join the Bumble Bee Customer Marketing team. The Director of Customer Marketing will be responsible for translating national brand strategies, marketing plans, and insights into sales strategies and tactics that maximize revenue by driving volume, market share, and margin with our trading partners. S/he will be accountable for partnering with Brand Management and Field Sales to drive market execution across multiple customers, channels (Retail, Mass, Club, Drug, Food Service, Dollar, E-Commerce, Military, etc.), and product segments. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of trade marketing, consumer marketing, and sales acumen (in the CPG space) with a knack for analyzing the business landscape, creative problem solving, effective negotiation skills, and taking action to deliver results. This individual must be prepared to skillfully collaborate with key stakeholders to create an environment of seamless connection between the Bumble Bee brand and our customer’s needs.


The Director of Customer Marketing will be responsible for partnering with Brand Management and Field Sales to deliver budgeted P&L performance and commercial health metrics on the Bumble Bee brand specifically for the canned tuna business but could also work across multiple product segments and commercial channels. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (brand managers, customers, suppliers, and others) to facilitate seamless connections between our brands / products and our consumers.
  • Translates national brand strategies, marketing plans, and insights into sales strategies and tactics that maximize revenue by driving volume, market share, and margin with our trading partners.
  • Co-Develop price and trade promotion strategies, trade merchandising plans and major trade initiatives. Responsible for review and collaborative approval with Sales of Customer Business Plans in Trade Promotion System.
  • Responsible for management of the product pricing strategy relative to COGS movement and trade marketing optimization in order to drive company growth. Balance profit, volume, and share objectives in order to deliver long term growth.
  • Responsible to monitor competitive tracking via Nielsen and marketplace feedback, competitive reports, broker reports, merchandising reports, local market economic factors, trade changes and trends and development of strategy to stay best in class.
  • Lead initiatives including agreement with sales management on items to rationalize, as well as working with field sales to identify outlets for discontinued items.
  • Act as strategic liaison between Brand Marketing and Sales – translate brand / product strategies into effective account specific business plans AND champion customer / sales needs within the Brand Marketing team.
  • Maintain extensive customer knowledge including go-to-market strategies, performance trends, costs of doing business, “hot buttons,” and promotional vehicles.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain on Demand Planning initiatives and SKU level forecasting.
  • Responsible for managing New Item Distribution funds including strategy, evaluating field requests based on payout levels, and budget tracking.

Tax Director

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Director to lead the Tax department. This position will oversee the International, U.S. Federal, State, and local tax compliance processes, and reporting requirements, prepare quarterly and audited year end income tax accounting under ASC 740 and IAS 12 related to global operations, and oversee the Company’s global transfer pricing policies.

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee the preparation of the U.S., Canadian and Indonesian tax returns
  • Coordinate all aspects of tax compliance & reporting including property, sales/use, withholding, and other taxes
