Demand Planner

The Demand Planner will be responsible to develop operational forecast and executes the collaborative forecasting process. Creates and maintains forecast models, analyzes trends, seasonality, and incorporates business intelligence and forecast information from sales, marketing, procurement, planning, and other sources. Supports the monthly senior management consensus forecast process.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and recommends demand forecasts using historical sales trends, statistical forecasting models, and research on demand drivers.
  • Develops, manages, and leads the monthly senior management collaborative and consensus review process.
  • Deliver forecast accuracy KPIs that drive inventory and service levels that meet or exceed targeted goals.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and Supply Planning to better understand supply needs to drive forecast accuracy.
  • Supports the implementation, development, and maintenance of demand planning software by applying expertise in process, technology and forecasting practices.
  • Knowledge of Demand Planning and ability to work with all areas to implement forecasting management.
  • Provide direct analytical support highlighting forecast accuracy and trends that help improve the forecast errors.
  • Improve forecast accuracy by analyzing forecast error and timely correcting the modeling.
  • Develops future demand plans that drive supply chain planning processes.
  • Monitor demand on a daily basis and communicate updated projections.
  • Leverage industry best practices and continuous improvements to forecasting and supply planning processes and systems.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  • Education:  Four-year college degree in business, or other mathematically related field.  Or equivalent relevant job experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in demand or supply chain planning
  • Strong project management skills: ability to manage multiple projects/solutions for multiple business area requestors.
  • SAP/APO or other SCM Software experience in Demand Planning a plus.
  • CPF or APICS certification a plus.
  • Experience in relevant areas:  Supply chain, purchasing, forecasting, demand management, inventory control, materials management, or distribution resource planning; preferably in the consumer-packaged goods industry.

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Operations Finance professional to support our business operations with financial insights and decision-making. Supply Chain Planner

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for production planning and deployment of inventory within the assigned product areas. This position requires use of analytical and quantitative methods to make sure inventory is deployed most effectively through the Supply Chain network to minimize redeployment, keep transportation costs low, and maximize customer order fulfillment.  The Supply Chain Planner will manage and execute a master plan and adhere to inventory management strategies to support the company market plans and financial goals.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 

  • Supply Planning – Responsible for all aspects of the supply planning with contract manufactures and inventory investments for the assigned planning activities to achieve defined customer service strategies, inventory, and EBITDA objectives.
    • Owns material requirement planning (MRP) processes for all internally owned production facilities, ensuring alignment between demand signals and material availability.
    • Maintains accurate master data settings in SAP and performs regular data clean-up activities to ensure system integrity and reliable planning outputs.
    • Collaborates closely with stakeholders at three manufacturing sites to ensure adequate on-hand stock levels and optimize planning processes.
    • Drives best practices, standardized processes and continuous improvement initiatives across all three plants to enhance supply chain performance and alignment.
  • Partners with the Demand Team to develop a balanced demand & supply plan and manage the planning trade-offs.
  • Manages the integration of supply planning for new product launches with key stakeholders and manages the exit of discontinued items in the most efficient way (minimizing the cost of excess & obsolete inventory).
    • Manage the excess inventory process for assigned product groups.  Facilitate sale inventory to secondary accounts, transfer inventory to alternate DC’s to minimize excess, or to identify product to repack.
    • Master SAP to create purchase orders and stock transport orders daily and keep all data current and accurate at all times to ensure efficient inventory across the network
    • Provide recommendations to improve service, quality of work, and reduce costs through process or execution improvements
  • Customer Focus – Achieve and maintain alignment in the supply chain between suppliers, Bumble Bee Foods, and the Customer
    • Works with Customer Service, Operations, QA, Technology, Sales, and Marketing to coordinate schedules and other supply chain activities where demand exceeds supply, during supply shortages, where event timing necessitates an inventory build, or where non-standard actions are required (i.e., pre-planning for special package features i.e. coupons, graphics or size changes) Ensures 98.5% order fulfillment to prevent stockouts or customer shortages
  • Engage in weekly supply planning review meetings to document global supply for products managed and clearly communicate supply status

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field
  • 3-5 years minimum experience required in a supply chain planning role
  • Experience in relevant areas:  Supply chain, purchasing, forecasting, demand management inventory control, production scheduling, master scheduling, capacity management, materials management, or distribution resource planning

Inventory Analyst

The Inventory Analyst’s primary responsibility is to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels between the Bumble Bee system and distribution center (DC) warehouse management systems (WMS).  The Inventory Analyst will also provide a supporting role for Supply Chain management to include Logistics financial reporting, DC invoices and inventory management for Co-Packers and Anova frozen business.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Continuous review of product inventories between Bumble Bee ERP system (SAP) and 7 Bumble Bee DC WMS systems at the plant, item, batch and quantity levels. Inventory valued in excess of $100 million
  • Reconciliation of daily EDI errors, inventory, open orders, and pending in-transit reports for 7 Bumble Bee DCs and 6 Anova DCs
  • Quarterly reconciliation of inventories for Anova frozen DC distribution network
  • Independently act as liaison with distribution center contacts and internal supply chain departments to research and resolve inventory issues
  • Process in SAP daily overage, short and damages (OS&D) for Bumble Bee and Anova inbound receiving
  • Process in SAP manual goods issue for Co-Packers and Direct Container, and Direct Plant shipments
  • Primary contact with DC Customer Success team on inventory and daily EDI issues
  • Assist Logistics team in critical path analysis for trending inventory reconciliation issues within the DC network. This includes issue identification, data analysis, research with DC inventory teams, and recommendations of corrective actions
  • Conduct daily oversight and management of Past Required Ship Date (Past RSD) reporting at Bumble Bee and Anova DCs in coordination with Transportation and Customer Success Teams
  • Perform monthly DC product rotation audits and conduct DC follow up on potential mis-rotated inventory
  • Assist with management of aging and hold inventories with Bumble Bee and Anova DCs, including tracking and management of QA and FDA hold inventories
  • As needed assign general ledger coding and approve DC invoices for processing in SAP’s Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) system
  • As needed maintain DC invoice spreadsheet and monthly logistics financial reports
  • Process raw material receipts and adjustments, conducting annual reconciliation of Bumble Bee owned raw materials
  • Provide operational support for Bumble Bee and Anova daily email correspondence, troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Miscellaneous analytical reporting projects focused on cost and operations efficiencies as assigned by manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties of this position are those described below. This job description does not state or imply that the duties listed are the only duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management.

· Intune endpoint management, including policies for Apple and Google enrollment, software deployment, and policies for Azure AD joined Windows computers

· Manage Azure Entra ID, including support of account replication between AD and Azure AD, Account creations, and group management

· Management of network printers

· Administration of Azure services, including, but not limited to, Virtual Machines, Web Apps, SQL databases, Azure Active Directory, Enterprise Applications, Recovery Service Vaults, and Intune

· Work with application vendors to configure SSO SAML, including updating of certificates as needed

· Operational support and optimization of network/cloud/workstation/server/storage technologies to ensure continuous availability of secure and reliable network services

· Wireless assessments and optimization. Ensure connections are secure and provide a seamless login experience for all devices including IoT, guests, and corporate assets

· Collaborate with site staff, project teams, as well as vendors, to implement changes to existing systems, and newly deployed systems for the business

· Research and recommendation of next generation tools to keep business operations efficient

· Craft PowerShell scripts for bulk operations or specific tasks not available from the GUI

· Manage and tune cyber security tools to ensure effective remediation of threats in a timely manner

· Occasional travel to several US and International facilities may be required for site hardware rollouts and site assessments

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum 5 years of in-depth, hands-on experience in cloud, server, and network administration as the go-to person for managing the infrastructure. Any recent cloud or network certifications a plus.

· Extensive experience creating group policies and configuration profiles for mobile and computer management such as Intune, GPO, and RMM

· Extensive understanding and experience supporting an organization with clients that are Azure AD joined. Experience shifting organizations from hybrid to full cloud environments as a technical role.

· Experience configuring policies for enterprise O365 applications including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive

· Strong understanding of wireless protocols and optimizations, topologies, and common network issues and how to resolve them

· Experience implementing cyber security tools to protect organizations, including enterprise Anti-Virus, EDR, email protection, Intrusion Prevention, Zero Trust, SSL certificate requests, etc.

· Experience implementing and tuning modern cloud security products such as CASB, Shadow-IT risk mitigation, cloud-native SIEM

· Experience managing and securing cloud storage for an enterprise such as Drobox, Box, Google Drive, Egnyte etc.

· Strong analytical and research skills to resolve complex issues in a timely manner

· Agile, “can-do” team player with excellent communication skills. Have no problem rolling up the sleeves to find a way to complete the objective at hand.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish, including written and spoken communication is highly preferable.

The expected pay range for this role is $90,000 – $135,000 annually.

*The compensation will be commensurate with the level of knowledge, education, skills, and experience applicable to the position.

Purpose

Job Overview: As Corporate Counsel & Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company adheres to applicable laws and regulations while working as a strategic partner to support business goals. You will work closely with the General Counsel to manage compliance initiatives, review, draft, and negotiate contracts, and assist on a variety of legal issues impacting the company’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance:

  • Manage and update the company’s corporate compliance program, including leading an assessment of the company’s third-party compliance systems to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies 
  • Maintain and update compliance policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Lead internal investigations related to compliance violations, ethics concerns, employment matters or other legal risks, proposing remedial actions, as necessary.
  • Stay current with evolving laws and regulations affecting the company’s industry.
  • Develop and deliver compliance-related training for employees and management, ensuring they understand relevant policies and procedures

Legal:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts.
  • Assist in developing contract templates, playbooks, and guidelines to streamline contract management processes.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel and oversee legal proceedings when necessary, including with respect to product liability, worker’s comp and third-party subpoenas.
  • Oversee the company’s data privacy program, ensuring compliance with global and      domestic privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable regulations.

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and sound judgment in handling legal and compliance matters.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and provide clear, practical legal guidance.
  • Ability to manage multiple legal projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in a state bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate compliance and contract negotiation.

Preferred:

  • Certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional) is a plus.
