Senior Manager, Business Development (Job #HL-1023)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the development of a business integration strategy between the company and its parent entity in Taiwan, including identifying dependencies and risks, developing solutions for overcoming obstacles, and implementing solutions across multiple teams.
- Work with collaborative teams between the entities to streamline financial transaction touchpoints from raw fish to final products.
- Gain a clear understanding of both entities’ product portfolios to review ways to streamline company activities.
- Develop a unique approach to seasonal strategy alignment and promotions by aligning product availability, marketing strategies, and promotional funding with seasonal fishing patterns and raw material pricing to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
- Manage price fluctuations and minimize risks of supply chain volatility by utilizing an advanced understanding of fish price fluctuations and raw material sourcing to inform demand forecasting, product replenishment, and promotional strategies.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of fishery cycles to strategically optimize the timing of new product launches on the e-commerce platform aligning with cost-effective sourcing periods to maximize margins and improve product performance in the marketplace.
- Drive a fishery-focused e-commerce strategy by integrating global fishery market insights into product growth strategies, as well as developing tailored pricing, marketing, and SKU management plans that reflect supply and demand dynamics for the company’s product portfolio.
- Spearhead initiatives to educate cross-functional teams on the impact of fishery industry trends on sales performance to improve decision-making for pricing, promotions, and inventory management within the e-commerce ecosystem.
- Identify new business opportunities in retailor e-commerce channels as well as pure-play e-commerce channels, and improve brand-owned digital channels in traffic, engagement, functionality and user interface.
- Deliver a seamless Omni channel presence to connect online and offline advertising, and to drive marginal revenue and market share.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Hospitality, or related field.
- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Hospitality, or related field and 2 years of post-Bachelor’s degree work experience in international project management, or project management in the seafood industry in lieu of a Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Work or academic experience to include: (1) Managing projects that involve strategic collaboration with quality assurance and purchasing teams in the seafood industry. (2) Purchasing whole fish or loins and tuna-finished goods, including sourcing high-quality products in the context of the U.S. market. (3) Building and maintaining partnerships and relationships across business units, as well as with external customers, wholesale, and cross-functional partners. (4) Directing website technical structure, design and aesthetics, content, navigation, information architecture and functionality efforts. (5) Coordinating overseas business operations. (6) Coordinating and developing E-commerce and digital marketplace strategies. (7) Providing executive presentations with PowerPoint and modeling in Excel.
- Skills 1 and 2 require 2 years of work experience if qualifying with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
- Position requires 10% domestic travel. Travel expenses paid by employer.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 5 years of in-depth, hands-on experience in cloud, server, and network administration as the go-to person for managing the infrastructure. Any recent cloud or network certifications a plus.
· Extensive experience creating group policies and configuration profiles for mobile and computer management such as Intune, GPO, and RMM
· Extensive understanding and experience supporting an organization with clients that are Azure AD joined. Experience shifting organizations from hybrid to full cloud environments as a technical role.
· Experience configuring policies for enterprise O365 applications including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive
· Strong understanding of wireless protocols and optimizations, topologies, and common network issues and how to resolve them
· Experience implementing cyber security tools to protect organizations, including enterprise Anti-Virus, EDR, email protection, Intrusion Prevention, Zero Trust, SSL certificate requests, etc.
· Experience implementing and tuning modern cloud security products such as CASB, Shadow-IT risk mitigation, cloud-native SIEM
· Experience managing and securing cloud storage for an enterprise such as Drobox, Box, Google Drive, Egnyte etc.
· Strong analytical and research skills to resolve complex issues in a timely manner

Engineering Manager
The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the engineering department to drive continuous improvement, reliability, and operational excellence at the Snows food manufacturing facility. This role oversees capital projects, equipment upgrades, process optimization, and maintenance strategies to support production goals, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Engineering Manager will also lead a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring timely project execution, equipment performance, and adherence to safety protocols, such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and pinch point hazard management.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of boiler operators, maintenance, electricians, and technicians.
- Oversee daily engineering operations and provide technical support to production, maintenance, and safety teams.
- Collaborate with corporate engineering, production, quality, and safety teams to ensure alignment on projects and priorities.
Capital Projects & Process Improvement
- Plan, execute, and manage Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) for equipment upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and facility expansions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce downtime, and enhance equipment reliability.
- Lead the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and technology.
Equipment & Facility Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance strategy for critical equipment, ensuring proactive and preventive maintenance schedules are met.
- Ensure compliance with LOTO, Arc Flash, and pinch point safety protocols to protect team members and contractors.
- Identify and implement predictive maintenance technologies to minimize equipment failures.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with OSHA, FDA, and local safety regulations, including LOTO, Arc Flash, and other hazard management protocols.
- Lead and support safety initiatives, conducting regular safety audits and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

Budgeting & Cost Control

Purpose

Regional Account Manager – ADUSA
PURPOSE
Bumble Bee Foods is posting for a Regional Account Manager position. In this position one will be responsible for selling activities for Bumble Bee Foods for the assigned customers, leading with ADUSA. This is a dynamic role in which cross functional partnership is critical. One can expect to work with Sales Leadership, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Category Management, and Brokers to develop and execute sales plans.
Geographical requirements are as follows. Candidates must be based in the following states on the specific position to be considered an eligible applicant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Lead efforts to develop Category influential plans to secure the best possible shelf merchandising for Bumble Bee items.
- Develop a best in class understanding of Shelf Stable Seafood/Protein through continuous education efforts.
- Lead the broker relationship to ensure successful execution of plans.
- Understand and execute against the diverse go-to market strategies of ADUSA’s Five Brands. E.g., Food Lion and Hannaford hybrid model.
- Assist in forecasting volume and sharing relevant customer information to ensure accurate deployment of inventory across the supply chain.
- Work across internal departments to resolve any customer issues.
- Work with Trade Marketing to complete and review post-promotional analysis.
- Deliver excellence in Trade Spend system management to minimize pricing and promotional discrepancies.
- Aggressively manage deductions at assigned customers to an expeditious resolution.
- Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards regarding business dealings with internal and external customers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS DESIRED
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred. Business or Marketing preferred.
- 3-5 years of CPG Sales or Category Management experience, ideally calling directly on the ADUSA business.
- Computer literate; able to produce Excel spreadsheets, Word documents and PowerPoint.
- Understand and be able to apply syndicated data analysis into sales presentations.
- Fundamental and working knowledge of Trade Fund Management systems and internal sales/shipment reporting systems.
- Experience with CAS (TFM), Cognos and SAP preferred but not mandatory.
- Able to travel at least 25% of the time.

Financial Controller

The purpose of this function is to direct the financial activities of the business unit by performing the following:

- Day to day management of the General Ledger
- Identification of, and research of accounting issues as to support accounting positions
- Prepares the annual budget and latest estimate forecasts
- Coordinates the month end and year end closings
- Prepares accurate and timely monthly financial statements and delivers such results in accordance with the accounting timetable.
- Prepares reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs and explains variances.
- Prepares timely and accurate journal entries, as required in completing the monthly financial close process.
- Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Reviews and approves all Capital Project CERs before submission to Corporate.
- Forecasts Capital Spending on a monthly basis.
- Prepares and maintains validation schedules to ensure general ledger accounts reconcile to sub ledger records.
- Ensure plant expenses are posted correctly to the proper accounts and cost centers.
- Approve requisitions, purchase orders and invoices as needed.
- Supervises finance team
Other Duties
- Assist Plant GM with various analyses as directed.
- Support Operations in analyzing factory performance
- Settle Maintenance work orders.
- Assist management with accounting issues (vendor set up, expense reporting).
- Manage Accounting, Inventory, Logistics and HR functions.

Food Defense Responsibilities
- Engage in our “see something say something” Food Defense Program. This will include any necessary training requirements upon hire, then annually. Employee must follow all aspects of the Food Defense Plan and have specific training in their area.
Responsibilities to include the following:
- Ensure that there are no chemicals and non-food grade lubricants or physical contaminants in the process areas and report immediately to Supervisor if there is any infraction.
