SAN DIEGO (March 27, 2013) Bumble Bee Seafoods has announced the release of its new “BeeWell for Life® – A Living Guide” eBook. The BeeWell Living Guide, complete with engaging signature content designed to inspire and motivate readers to accomplish their wellness goals, is being published online in seasonal installments.
Each quarterly installment of the BeeWell Living Guide offers wellness advice, tips and recipes created in collaboration with Bumble Bee’s team of lifestyle experts, including Registered Dietitians Stephanie Clarke and Willow Jarosh, Fitness Coach Jennifer Grayeb and Celebrity Chef Scott Leibfried.
The first BeeWell Living Guide is centered on the new year and spring. Featured content includes practical tips to set measurable goals throughout the year, how to craft a fitness routine that will last, delicious shape-up meals that are quick and easy, how to get the most out of neighborhood farmer’s markets and more.
According to Bumble Bee Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility Dave Melbourne, the BeeWell Living Guide offers meaningful content for fans of the brand, and consumers who seek simple-to-follow tips and solutions for living healthy, active lifestyles.
“The BeeWell Living Guide is an integral part of our overall brand efforts to promote healthy lifestyles and to deliver on our mission,” said Melbourne. “It brings to life our health and wellness brand platform, providing content that’s very authentic and hopefully resourceful for readers, with the help of our longtime partners, a fantastic team of wellness and lifestyle experts.”
BeeWell for Life® has evolved from a consumer program to become Bumble Bee’s halo brand philosophy and marketing platform. The company first introduced BeeWell for Life in 2008 as a signature program to encourage people to exercise, stay active and eat healthier using the dedicated online site www.beewellforlife.com. The portal offers a variety of tools and encourages healthy living by enabling users to earn points by logging exercise activities, completing wellness challenges, submitting recipes and sharing with friends. The points earned then translate to charitable donations.
“Today, BeeWell for Life stands for something bigger for our brand. It reinforces our mission to provide healthy, sustainable foods and programs that enhance everyday lives,” Melbourne said.
